McCarran Sees Strong Passenger Gains in February

The latest passenger volume stats are out from McCarran, and they show Southern Nevada looking strong in February. With more than 3.5 million arriving and departing passengers, the airport saw a 4% increase in traffic from the same month a year ago.

Domestic travel was up 3.9% while international volumes were still up a healthy 2.9% and helicopters and other traffic saw a whopping 12.5% increase.

Among the top five domestic carriers, Spirit continues to see tremendous growth 18.1% more passengers than in February 2017. Southwest, American, and Delta had more modest gains, with United essentially flat.
